The Perfect Prom

I am not going to lie- I do not remember a huge amount of my sixth year prom as my memory has been hindered by excessive champagne consumption. I do remember, though, how gorgeous everyone looked and how beautiful some of the dresses were.

My own, a BCBG Max Azria oyster pink number, was a dream but there were many others that instilled a little bit of prom dress envy. There was my good friend's Kate Middleton-esque sapphire blue gown, a simple strapless chiffon beauty in forest green and a scarlet satin Biba number that exuded old Hollywood glamour. A prom is the one time when you can go all out and wear the dress of your dreams- but finding said dress is not always easy.

Though I am in my final term of my first year at uni, and LCF are unlikely to throw us a spontaneous end of year gala, I still can not help but wonder what I would wear. Part of me wishes I could go back to last summer and have my prom again- I feel there was so much I took for granted in the past year.

Make Like Kate

I adore this pretty playsuit from Love- the perfect cool summer piece. It's every bit as gorgeous as Kate Moss' dress in last summer's Longchamp campaign, and paired with neutral accessories is the ultimate in daytime luxury. Love it!

Topshop's Limited Edition Lovelies

Topshop's gorgeous new Limited Edition dress range has a little something for every style and it is just adorable. The dresses are all around £150, a worthy price for such special dresses, and are sure to vanish pretty quickly!

This beautiful dress featured in last nights Evening Standard, and I just fell in love! I had to a do a little post on it, as did my lovely friend Nicole Campanaro of Pink Flamingo Kisses (check out her post here!)

It is just the most gorgeous dress possibly ever! Designed by Han Chong, a CSM grad who is now creative director of the amazing boutique website Three Floor Fashion.
