Friday Flirtations!
Smile girls- it's Friday!
I have been super duper busy of late, but I just thought i'd share with you these divine underwear sets from Topshop which I have been very naughty and snapped up this week.
I don't think there are many things in life more indulgent than gorgeous lingerie. I feel it is the perfect way to treat yourself without spending too much money.
New pretty lingerie + a gorgeous bottle of champagne + yummy Laura Mercier body soufflé = unparalleled happiness.
These sets are wonderful value and just gorgeous for showing off under one of Topshop's signature silky camisoles. Pair with super skinny jeans and heels for a dinner date look that is pretty but still elegant.
Go on ladies, treat yourself. It has been a rather long week!
1. This balconette bra is wonderfully flattering, complete with a little flourish of double eyelash mint lace against a cream background. It is £18 here.
2. For something even prettier, opt for this unpadded lace bra with soft lace detailing and flirty bow detail. It is also £18 here.
3. The matching briefs are £8 here.
4. The matching thong is £8 here.
LFW AW13: How Do You Shoe?

Though Milan has now kicked off, i'm still playing catch up with LFW, so here are some more lovely images to feast your eyes on!
Today we have the most divine shoe porn from a number of AW13 presentations at Somerset House, ranging from delicious little pumps through to pencil heeled sparklers.
My personal favourites have to be the French Sole pumps. I know it's safe, but i'm a total ballet pump devotee, so imagine my joy at spotting these studded ankle strap flats. I can only imagine how lovely the nude pair would look with these luscious J Brand skinnies from Atelier-To-Go (how amazing?!) and this Equipment Leandra blouse... What a lovely outfit post that would be... Curse my student budget!
For a little bit of different, though, I adore the outlandish quality of Sophia Webster's collection. How about that arty clutch for a witty but pretty way to spice up a little black dress?
Aah... Shoes, glorious shoes.
PS.
I couldn't resist updating my shoe collection with these jade Zara heels... Perfect with skinnies and a printed blouse. Unfortunately, though, the pair I bought have a nasty scuff on them so I'll have to keep my fingers crossed that my local Zara have a replacement. Wish me luck!

* HIGH PITCHED SQUEAL *
London Fashion Week is so totes around the corner. Just over 15 days until the fashion crowd descend on Somerset House and a number of other fashion-fabulous venues to view next season's most delightful collections!
This is the first of a few posts I shall be doing with outfits that I wish I could afford to splurge on for fashion week. I realise that they are all high street, but I am a poor student and can not afford to splash the cash on an entire new wardrobe just for fashion week. Though I certainly wish I could do so.
My first look is a kooky take on a classically sexy look as often sported by the impossibly hot Carine Roitfeld. Adding this Ashish Topshop t-shirt and these vivid purple heels (in a shade very close to Atelier-To-Go's signature colour!) gives this simple look a modern edge and the bold accessories keep it fresh for the ever eccentric London Fashion Week!
I adore this Zara handbag as well, it is the perfect size to fit your camera, your iPad, your notebook and that all-important lippy for those impromptu street-style snaps!
What is your perfect fashion week look?

50 Shades of Louise Gray!

| Lipsticks in Legend and Mexican Wave, £10 each |
Oh gosh, excuse this dire pun!
I could not resist... I've been tempted to do a post on tea so as to incorporate "50 Shades of Earl Grey" into my blog, but count your lucky stars that my writing skills are not quite up to writing a tea-based short-story romp.
Thank you Topshop for collaborating with the eccentric Brit designer Louise Gray and allowing me to indulge in this pun. I'm also rather excited about this beauty range- I love, love, love the fun colours and quirky packaging.
These lipsticks are the perfect way to inject a little bit of fun into your make-up bag and keep you feeling bright all through to Christmas time. They are instant mood-lifters!

Sssshoe Time

Thank god for my iPad! I downloaded a few magazines to read, one of which was the new issue of Harpers (starring Victoria Beckham looking phenomenal- see here) and I noticed a pair of gorgeous Kurt Geiger heels (£220) that I fell in love with. I also had a little bit of deja vu.
These shoes are just cropping up everywhere! From the versatile but fashionable snakeskin to the metal spike heels and ladylike pointed toe, these have all the markings of an 'it' shoe, and they are affordable! Well, more so than Louis Vuitton!

SS12 Wishlist
And here you have it- my SS12 must have list. I have a few bits and bobs, and these are my must-haves for summer! And were I to buy them all, how much would that set me back? £153.96. A worthwhile investment I reckon!
So why have I chosen these pieces?
THE PALE JEANS Okay, perhaps they are not quite white but these Topshop supersoft jeans are just to die for (read my wee denim review here!). White jeans do seem tricky to pull-off, but they are definitely a summer must-have. Pair with a breton tee and bright flats for a cool springtime look, or try with a patterned blouse and wedges for evening. And with that, we move swiftly on to...
THE SILKY BLOUSE I am a little bit obsessed with blouses, and this Zara floral one is right up there for me. Paired with denim or leather shorts and flats, this watercolour-print blouse is versatile and very easy to wear! I'm also waiting to purchase the studded one from the Zara April lookbook (see it here)
THE DAY-TO-NIGHT DRESS This sparkly Topshop dress is extremely flattering and very feminine. Mint is my favourite colour this season and looks lovely dressed down with flats or up with heels and statement earrings. Try the creamy mint shade with a deep Mulberry purple as I wore today- a beautifully rich colour combo!
THE SNAKESKIN SANDALS (LOW AND HIGH) Snakeskin is a huge trend this season, and is so versatile! It will look perfect with pretty pastels or with neutrals. Metallics can get a little bit boring after a while, so why not mix it up with a pair of snakeskin flats and a pair of wedges for evening!
THE CUTESY BIKINI Every girl loves a pretty bikini, and as I failed to get my hands on the H&M Versace fruity number (refresh your memory here!), this Zara one will certainly do the trick. The flattering halter detail is great for a less than busty girl like myself!
THE TAILORED SHORTS Anything Erdem-esque and i'm smitten, and these well cut Zara shorts are a total bargain! Worn with white tailoring or just a crisp white shirt they are a Summer essential! I love them.
