Always a favourite of A-listers across the pond, the designers of luxury label Marchesa- famed for couture-like ruffles and pretty details- have this year decided to try something a little friskier.
To coincide with this years opening of the new Playboy club in London on June 4th, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have designed a one-off couture Playboy Bunny costume, and from the sketches it looks pretty lovely.
It will be unveiled on the 26th of May, and will be auctioned of for Breast Cancer Awareness, which is great!
Speaking of the slightly unusual union, Georgina Chapman told Vogue.com :
"The Playboy Bunny costume is one of fashion and pop culture's most iconic emblems. We were excited to design our own interpretation in celebration of the Playboy Club's reopening. The Playboy brand is about fantasy and escapism, which are elements embodied in our Marchesa collections."
Makes perfect sense, eh? I'll be sure to post the finished result come the 26th!
