Fashion ♥ Japan

What do Lady Gaga, Victoria Beckham, Charlize Theron and Cyndi Lauper all have in common?...

Er, not a lot really, except that they are all part of a new project by Uniqlo to help survivors of the Japan earthquake that left so many lives shattered. Uniqlo have already donated £16million to the cause and have joined forces with Condé Nast Japan (Vogue Japan and GQ Japan) to create a range of charity t-shirts, designed by a number of famous names in fashion, film and music.

The t-shirts, at £12.99 each will go on sale worldwide in Uniqlo on the 25th of June, and Uniqlo will donate a massive 100 million yuan from the profits.

Read more about the t-shirts here or visit the Save Japan Project website for more information on how you can do your bit to help.

The t-shirts are covered with inspirational and lovely messages, and are for such a good cause. My personal favourites are Alber Elbaz's design and Gwyneth Paltrow's heartfelt message:

"One world. In it together. Your strength strengthens us. Japan."
