Introducing Otiumberg.

Daytime jewellery ought to be understated but precious, with a nod to your own personal style. I have a few key, everyday pieces that I feel naked without, but I am constantly on the lookout for beautiful, unusual pieces to add to my collection. Sure, it's nice to buy something cheap and cheerful, but if you fancy something special then look no further than Otiumberg.

Otiumberg is a new London-based e-boutique boasting an expertly tailored selection of accessories from cool new designers from all across the globe. Covering everything from candy-coloured rings by Sabrina Dehoff through to Sunday Somewhere's modern sunglasses, Otiumberg's edit is ideal for young chic-ettes looking for pieces with a certain je ne sais quoi.

1. Sabrina Dehoff Crystal Fox pendant - £138 here ; 2. Zoe & Morgan Stardust 22-kt gold plated earrings - £165 here ; 3. Odette NY arrow cuff - £59 here; 4. Astrid & Miyu The Perfect One 14-kt gold plated ring - £39 here ; 5. Astrid & Miyu The Perfect One - £39 here.

I have always been a total magpie, and this season I am particularly drawn to stacking rings and cuffs. The designers on my radar at the moment are Ileana Makri, Gaia Repossi, Diane Kordas and Maria Black, but sadly - due to insufficient funds - I am making do and mend with a whole host of H&M stacking rings and the odd treat from & Other Stories.

What I love about Otiumberg, though, is the accessibility of the semi-precious pieces - most of which are below the £100.00 mark. In essence my logic is: rather than buying five sets of stacking rings from H&M, opt instead for a couple of bejewelled rings by Astrid & Miyu and live a life free of unsightly green finger marks.

They also have a few higher-end pieces from Zoe & Morgan, including the incredible Stardust earrings pictured above and a statement 'Shooting Stars' ring- perfect for special occasions. I am hopeful that they branch out into fine jewellery, too, as my 21st birthday is coming up and there's only so much Alex Monroe a girl can take.*

* I take that back, Alex. I could always have more.

1. Spektre Audacia Havana sunglasses - £122 here ; By Phillipe 14-kt gold plate key necklace - £48 here ; Mor bronze twist ring - £28 here ; Odette Klaia cage ring - £82 here ; Mor bronze Tricycle bangle - £98 here

Trying to compile this edit took me a good few hours, for I could quite happily buy every thing on the site. The delicate layering pendants? Yes please. The lightweight Spektre shades? Get in my handbag. The Davina Combe rings? Go on, I'll take eight... I don't doubt you probably feel the same.

So next time you are seeking some super chic adornment, or are looking for a gift for that super cool friend who has everything (mine is this chick - her Instagram feed says it all), make sure you drop by Otiumberg.
