The town of Castellammare di Stabilia in Italy has made news today by introducing a ban on mini-skirts and low cut tops. Women who decide to shun this ban and rock a little mini will be charged £265!
I'm not entirely sure what to make of this ban- is it really correct to charge women for displaying too much flesh? Or is it just completely unfair?
As much as I shudder when I see someone in a skirt that is leaving very little to the imagination or a top that is exposing more than we really want to see- I think it's up to the woman, not anyone else!
The midi-skirt fad couldn't have come at a more appropriate time... Now I just need to work out how to wear one without looking like a librarian...
