Obviously the first thing that we need for winter would be a GORGEOUS flying jacket like those shown at Burberry Prorsum but, like Chanel's clogs, this item will most likely be a
one-season trend so it is probably best to buy a relatively cheap version. Here are a few of my favourites on the Great British High Street...

I would say this one is probably the nicest and most authentic I have seen, it is from Asos.com and is priced at £120 yet it is real leather and available in three lovely, versatile colours (Khaki, Tan and Black). The other great thing about this jacket is that the shearling collar is detachable meaning that it is sort of a flying jacket and biker jacket in one enhancing the jacket's longevity possibly helping to justify that price tag!

This New Look jacket is a slightly more accessible option with all the necessary details for nailing the Aviator jacket trend. This one is faux leather and is priced at £39.99. This jacket is not as versatile as the first but would look perfect with a slouchy t-shirt, jeans and a pair of on-trend lace up boots.
The next item on my wishlist would be the Ladylike Blouse. Now here is a trend with a huge amount of longevity! It is great for nailing the Ladylike trend as well as looking super stylish and chic all the time. Just pair with cropped black cigarette pants and pointed heels as seen at Isabel Marant or with a high waisted, modest skirt falling at the knee.
This one is a personal favourite of mine as I adore anything blush pink. I love the length and the pussy-bow collar and I think it would be perfect tucked into black trousers or leather shorts for a really fantastic look. The finish also looks far more expensive than the £32 price tag! This one is Miss Selfridge.
Next up is the staple winter coat. Focus for this winter's coat tends to be on the cape style and the masculine coat. Both very versatile and chic. Also, obviously, the majority of winter coats are not out in the shops yet, but a few are and here are my pick of the best available at the moment.
This belted "Boyfriend" coat is from Topshop at £75. I really like this one because you get the simple Jil Sander style masculinity in as well as the feminine silhouette given by the belt. This is the perfect winter coat for keeping warm while still looking stylish and cool.

I love, love, love this Asos.com cape! It is just £70 and I think it is a really gorgeous, versatile version of the capes seen on the catwalk. It is available in this lovely khaki or basic black (which they have paired with a long sleeved striped tee for a fantastic very Parisian look). This is my personal favourite of the capes I have seen so far and I think it is practical too keeping you nice and snug come winter.
